On the 17/09/07 (mon night), yunli jeslyn and sam went on a trip to night safari.
the whole trip take us for around 1 and a half hr from dohby ghaut to mandai to another bus to night safari.
we reached night safari at around 8pm. haha the atmosphere was there.
*groat.. our stomach tell us that we are hungry!
so after buying the tix, we went to eat Bongo Burgers!
It is a really large serving haha.

haha see even the plates all that are made of zebra stripes.
alot of their things are made of animal kinda of pattern incldging leopard prints etc.
so cool!

the lamp that sam is holding on this pic is sorta our "candles" for our candle-light dinner. hahah.
(look at sam's eyes! it is red in colour! lol blame the darkness)
















while we were eating, there is a tribal performance!
what a nice timely! haha we watched while eating.
it include blowpipe demonstrations and fire eating displays etc. haha.
they were so high! no pics for this as we were eating and the tribal performance was rather far.

we left the bonger burgers with a filling stomach.
our trip finally started! WOOOOOO!
so excited! HAHA!

the first thing we saw is that if we pay $5 we can take pic with a owl, snake and a dunno what (i think small leopard as shown on the pic). haha, but we decided to give it a miss.
















we proceed on and go on a Forest Giant’s Trail.
the path was really very dark and scary. haha.
we felt that we aint in S'pore lol so cool eh?
haha. nothing much for us to see in here except for the trees all that.
there is a bridge and as we pass by one grp of tourists, we heard the guide saying that the tree is 40m (i think) high. omg la it was so deep.
this trip remind us of the sec skool camp daring trip; the one where you all have to pair up and walk in a super dark path. haha.

the left hand-side is the bridge while the right-hand side is those trees.
















OH we also walked past a tiger!
omg, so handsome! and so big! how i wish can touch him! haha.































the Creatures of the Night Show is about to begin at 9:30pm.

actually this animal is to show its keen smell.
as the boy is asked to hide a grape on either hand and this animal will guess the grape is at which hand and it really will use its hand to open up the kid's hand and ate it. haha. it is really accurate!

we continue on our night safari trip once again.

we go on our leopard trail, fishing cat trail and tram ride.

oh yea i got to mention we go on the bat mangrove walk and ah li dont dare to come in and see the bat :P :P

tram ride was fun. we sit on the tram and saw alot of animals. very close distance for some too! lion, tiger, giraffe, zebra, flamingo, leopard, pocupine and many many more!
